スパ24時間レースも長く過酷な戦いが終わりました。
まずは現地はもちろん、日本からもたくさんの応援ありがとうございました。

結果は総合38位、PAM-class19位と決して良くありませんが、
序盤の接触、3度のタイヤバースト、その他にもいくつかのアクシデントがありながら、なんとか最後まで走り切ることが出来、チーム全員に感謝しています。

So long tough race of Spa24h has finished.
At first,Thank you very much for your support.

We got P38 of overall and P19 in PAM-class, the result was not so great,
but I want to say thank you for all of team because we could finish the race even in a lot of accident, rear suspension was broken hit by Porsche, 3 times tire puncture and other various things.

正直、ポルシェに激突されて足が曲がった時はもう駄目かもと思ってしまいましたが、メカニックが懸命にマシンを直してくれる姿を見て、絶対に最後まで走り切ると心に決めました。

チームメイトの柳田さん、マーク、ルーキーのミゲールもとても頼もしい走りでスティントを繋いでくれました。

To be honest, my heart was almost broken when I was hit by Porsche.
But when I saw the mechanics worked hard to fix the car, I decided to never give up until the end.

And teammate, Yanagida-san, Mark, and Miguel did very reliable drive and through every stint.

今回のレースでは特にアウディ、BMWの速さと安定感が目立ちました。
どちらもほぼワークス体制。他にもメルセデス、マクラーレン、ベントレー、アストン、ポルシェ、フェラーリなどのメーカーもワークスドライバーを各チームに送り込んできていて、ものすごくレベルの高いレースでした。
特に24時間レースの最後の最後までトップが同一周回でコース上でバトルしている光景は、まさに世界トップレベルのレースを見せ付けられた気分でした。
僕らも昨年と変わらないか、すこし良いペースで走行できていましたが、それでもトップ10圏内を走るのもギリギリの状況でした。

悔しい結果にはなりましたが、これも一つの糧にして、次の機会に生かせるように頑張って行きたいと思います。

This time, Audi and BMW showed very impressively speed and stability.
Both manufacturers was almost factory team.
And other manufacturers sent factory-drivers to each teams,the race level was too much high.
The couple of leading cars was battling on the track in same lap until the end, I felt like it was shown racing definitely top level of the world by them.
For our car, we could take same pace as last year, but other competitors became quicker than last year. I thought it was not so easy to take under P10.

Anyway, The result wasn't happy but I could learn a lot from that.
I want to make use of this experience in try again at the next opportunity.
